Please see Bishop Paul’s letter to our diocese at the start of this third national lockdown, which you can find in the news section of the church’s site.

Now that Nottinghamshire has entered Tier 4 -- Stay at Home, and in the light of the new risks posed by the new Covid-19 variant, we have cancelled our 'church-in-person' service at Wysall for Jan. 3rd and are in the process of reviewing future in-person services across all three of our churches this month.
This is because the new variant is much more infectious, with one in three infected showing no symptoms, and so that we can monitor the expected rise of its prevalence in our area.
Government advice is that in-person church services can still continue in Tier 4 — however, these are subject to a local risk assessment.
Please note that for those that are older there are significant risks — the government advises that all people over 70 are clinically vulnerable and in Tier 4 are recommended that they should be especially careful to follow the rules and minimise their contacts with others. If we remain open for in-person services, we will not turn people away from church, but we may recommend that they do not come!
Online Evening Prayer will continue as usual — just email me ([email protected]) if you want to join us for that. All welcome.
