Wysall Childrens Party – 11th December 2011 An enjoyable time was had by the children of our village at the recent Children’s Christmas Party, which included Disco and party games with the ‘Night Train Disco’
Wysall Luncheon Club Christmas Meal – 6th December 2011 Members of the Luncheon Club thoroughly enjoyed their christmas lunch in a friendly and festive setting. It was a jolly occasion and the members were entertained by Mr Fred Howarth reading some of his friends poems. Thank you Fred. The year will end with a christmas tea party on 20th December at 2.30p.m.and I hope will be able to attend. I would like to say thankyou to our little band of volunteers who work so hard throughout the year to keep the club going. A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone. Mary Elston"

Macmillan Coffee Morning – 01 October 2011 Thank you to all who very kindly baked cakes, donated items for the raffle. Thank you to Nathan who came and sold an assortment of gloves and very kindly donated all the monies.
To everyone for giving up their time to come and have a coffee and buy cakes. Not forgetting all those who helped on the day, we couldn’t do it without you Thank You. So far we have raised £266. Wysall Food fair - Sunday 25th September 2011 Wysall Food Fair Hailed a Great Success
Sunday’s Wysall Food fair really was an amazing day.
All in all a great success.

Wysall Sports Day - Sunday 10th July 2011 Sports day 2011 was yet another fantastic day, not blistering sunshine, we did have one rain stop play, but spirits weren’t dampened in any way. Thank you to all who turned up and took part. Special thanks to the young adults villagers and friends who helped run the individual stations or acted as leaders.
Tug O War, followed and we can see Ken Millar closely inspecting the rope and David poised with the whistle, and it was all systems GO. Thanks also go to Jane Harris for providing the equipment, without which it wouldn’t happen. Not forgetting David Roberts who oversees us with his whistle and stop watch. As if this wasn’t enough it was off to the field for a game of rounder’s, lots of shouting, and encouraging for individuals to make it to the next post. It was back to the Village Hall for a well earned burger and sausage thank you to Mary & Chris only just back from a long haul flight kindly cooking for us..:| BACK TO TOP |:. Wysall Strawberry Fare - Saturday June 18th 2011 A couple of heavy downpours did not dampen the enthusiasm of villagers, friends & families who attended this year’s Strawberry Fair. The Fair raised just under £1300, an increase on last year. All money raised will go to the upkeep of the church.
The organisers wish to thank everyone who supported the fair, all who helped set up and work the fair and all who made donations. .:| BACK TO TOP |:. French Fancies - Friday 15th April 2011 at 7.30pm An enthusiastic audience of over 50 people enjoyed the latest Village ventures event - Two Friends Productions presentation of French Fancies by Caroline Harding, freely adapted from the stories of Guy De Maupassant. A wickedly funny evening of vivacious songs & stories from Nineteenth Century France, full of wit, pathos and revenge.
